As is typical of an institution for basic sciences, our programme encompasses a wide spectrum of research areas and relates to all leading-edge studies currently conducted by its faculties and departments.
Inaddition to appreciable achievements obtained by pure science research in such specific traditional disciplines as mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, and geology, recent years have seen multi-disciplinary study findings of high applicability, giving birth to practical works and products.
The School is highly committed to channeling its efforts into the cutting-edge fields of Information Technology, Biotechnology, Environmental Science and science technology applications to production and life.
Scientific research has been a valuable milieu for exchange and co-operation between the School's faculty and scientists worldwide. This has triggered research and educational ties with international universities and research institutes.
